Re:Vault is a self-hosted web proxy. This page explains what happens to your data when you use this site.

What we store

• Settings are kept only in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never sent to us.
• Browsing done through the proxy is tunnelled to the destination site; we do not maintain server-side logs of the pages you visit beyond what is required to operate the connection.
• Proxied sites may set their own cookies and storage, which live in your browser. You can clear them anytime from Settings → Privacy & data.

Advertising & cookies

Re:Vault shows ads from Google AdSense only on its own pages (the start page, settings, and folder pages) — never on the third-party content you view through the proxy.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Children & schools

Re:Vault is a general-purpose tool. If you are using a managed/school device, follow your institution's acceptable-use policy.
